Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Screenshotor at screenshotor.com.
Screenshotor is operated by Socialligator LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, EIN 36-5141839, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA. Paid orders are sold by Creem as merchant of record. Creem charges the customer, collects tax where it applies, and pays the seller.
The service
Screenshotor is a website screenshot API. You send a public http or https URL. We render that page and return an image. Optional AI vision describes an image you captured. The service does not generate pictures of people, and it is not a file host for other people's content.
Accounts
You must give a real email address and accept these terms and the Privacy Policy when you sign up. New accounts have no credits and no usable API key until the email address is verified. Verification adds 100 free credits once. You are responsible for the API key and for every request made with it.
Acceptable use
- Capture pages you are allowed to access. Do not use the API to break into private networks, cloud metadata addresses, or systems that are not yours.
- Do not send targets that are illegal, or that ask us to store or redistribute someone else's copyrighted work beyond the screenshot you requested.
- Do not probe, overload, or resell access in a way that hides who the customer is.
Credits and plans
Prices and monthly credit amounts are listed on the pricing page. A capture spends credits when it is accepted, including a cache hit. Unused credits do not roll over. We may suspend an account that does not pay or that breaks these terms.
Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription in the Creem customer portal, which is also linked from the billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges. It does not delete captures already made.
